Screen shots & results from the tournament starting with Round 1

RedRum -VS- JohnnyHawian
At the start Pro-HL prediction were 2-1 in favor of JohnnyHawian but from the HLCCL poll the odds were in favor of the [USA] ClanBase 'NationsCup' team manger RedRum to walk away with the win. RedRum's home map was boot_camp & JohnnyHawian's home map was datacore. The final outcome was a double win for JohnnyHawian giving him the win and he goes into round 2.

bi0_gauss -VS- c@m!
Pro-HL predictions pointed towards c@m! to win this match but it would be a close win. HLCCL poll showed a much different picture with c@m! miles ahead of bi0_gauss. c@m!'s home map was havoc a map c@m! knows inside out and is one of the best you'll find at it. From the first map results you'll see bi0_gauss didn't find this map to easy going. bi0_gauss's home map was lost_village2 which he did win by 1 frag and that final frag came in extra time 'golden kill' The decider map boot_camp to be played on c@m!'s home server wasn't played as bi0_gauss decided to award c@m! with the default win. Final scores 2-1 to c@m!

raz!el -VS- =]$p@Z[=
Very close match these 2 players, Pro-HL pretictions were that raz!el would win 2-1 and the HLCCL poll reflected the same with raziel only ahead in the polls by a few votes. raz!el's home map stalkx was won by him by just a few frags ahead. $p@Z then took his home map of rapidcore by some 19 frag leaving both players to face a decider map boot_camp. raz!el again tipped to win this map failed to do so. $p@Z stole the show in the last few minutes to go a few frags ahead giving him the win. Final score 2-1 to $p@Z.

Shado -VS- Rapt0r
This game was one of interesting ones to watch just who would come out on top, Pro-HL pretictions were that Shado would win over the Brit, support for Rapt0r was high from the HLCCL poll. Shado's home map of isotonic was an easy win for him, with his super fast bow skills he had Rapt0r pinned down to win the map a good 30 frags or so ahead. Rapt0r not beaten stole his home map stalkyard to even up the scores. The decider map boot_camp was used to find the winner and unlucky for Rapt0r that winner would be the FIN; Shado. Final score 2-1 to Shado.

SpiX -VS- Tormentor
From the Pro-HL pre-match predictions SpiX was favorite to win this matchbut the HLCCL polls reflected a different story with Tormentor storming ahead on votes against SpiX. The excitement for this match was building but unlucky for Tormentor & those looking forward to this hyped up match it wasn't to be. Tormentor awarded the default win to SpiX due to real-life commitments.SpiX wins 2-0.

MoonyMaster -VS- Stig
The 2 Brits, both Division 1 skilled from the same team going head to head what more could you want in a match. Pro-HL pre-match predictions were in favor of [ENG] ClanBase 'NationsCup' player MoonyMaster to win in straight games and the HLCCL polls also showned massive support for MoonyMaster to win 32-2!! So it was no suprise thhat the final scores were 2-0 to MoonyMaster. He won his home map of stalkyard with ease but against Stig on his home map MoonyMaster came real close to loosing it. In the end the 4 frag lead was enough to win the match 2-0 MoonyMaster.

Seprem -VS- ion
The Pro-HL pre-match predictions were in favor of the yank, Seprem to win. The HLCCL polls revealed a different story... They favored the former ClanBase [SWE] 'NationsCup' player ion lead the polls to win the match. ion's home map stalkyard played on his home server went fine for ion who bagged the win easy. For Sepre's home server and map which was crossfireit wsn't to be so easy going for ion. Word on the AG circuit was that Seprem and crossfire are a deadly mix and some USA players say you'd be hard pressed to find a better crossfire player than Seprem. This was the case when Seprem went 75 to 17 on crossfire. This gave Seprem the home server advantage and the decider map was boot_camp. Both players wanted the win but Seprem pushed a little harder and with the home advantage walked away with the win in ease. Final score 2-1 to Seprem.

Deuzz -VS- Dyn4$tY
Pro-HL predictions were in favor of Dyn4$tY to win this match but the HLCCL polls were in support for the FIN Deuzz to win. However on the night of the match Dyn4$tY awarded the default win to Deuzz due to lag issues with the servers. The issue being that Deuzz was lagging too much therefore impossible to hit, bit of a turn up for the books as this is 'best of the best' and lag is dreadful part of the game but the best learn to deal with it and don't make issues over it. Anyway it was Dyn4$tY's choice and a choice that cost him the tournament. Final scores 2-0 to Deuzz.

{short description of image} Syn -VS- Apophis
The Pro-HL pre-match predictions were in favor of Syn & the HLCCL poll also showed the same outcome. Syn went on to win his home map of crossfire in no time leaving Apophis & his home map bounce in his sights. Apophis hit back hard on bounce leaving Syn little room to fight back but by the end Syn stole the map from Apophis by just 6 frags. Final score 2-0 to Syn.

JANER -VS- BeNji
This match was hyped as being one to watch, The legend BeNji former ClanBase 'NationsCup' player for team [SWE] against the underdog JANER and both HLCCL polls & Pro-HL pre-match predictions were in favor of BeNji to win. Yet on the night BeNji fail to show up within the required time therefore JANER won the match by default. Final score 2-0 to JANER

Puzuzu -VS- LeLe
The Pro-HL pre-match predictions were in favor of Puzuzu & the HLCCL polls also favored Puzuzu to win this match over the ClanBase [ITA] 'NationsCup' player. First up was Puzuzu on his home map of crossfire. From the start Puzuzu didn't really make a big impression only ahead by the odd frag or so and LeLe the underdog did put up a blinding counter attack with some amazing crossbow work. As the match went on so did Puzuzu's drive to win, not to put LeLe down he did battled to the very end but Puzuzu was by that time a clear 20 frags or so. LeLe's map datacore started very much in the same way with each player jumping ahead by the odd frag. This game I have to say was very slow and by the end of datacore both players had played enough it seemed with Puzuzu just ahead by 6 frags. Both players very closely matched but there can only be one winner and that was Puzuzu. Final scores 2-0 to Puzuzu.

Lynx -VS- UiBikkel
Pro-HL & HLCCL polls put Lynx way out ahead of UiBikkel to win this match after all Lynx was former [ENG] NationsCup player and HLCCL Division 1 player with a history of extreme gaming behind him. On the night though Lynx failed to show up within the required deadline and therefore the default win was awarded to UiBikkel who now goes through to round 2 which is a result for him although he faces the German player Syn... oOo unlucky. Final result UiBikkel 2-0.

dev -VS- Panda
Both pre-match predictions the HLCCL polls & Pro-HL backed Dev favorite of the whole tournament to win this game easy. ClanBase [GER] 'NationsCup' player and AllStar* AG player Dev took panda's home map of snarkpit easy. You could see from the first kill panda knew it was all over and by the end of the first map the scores were stacking up for Dev. When stalkyard came on Dev's home map panda knew it was over, the movement, aim & use of sound lead Dev to hammer home a massive 110 kills to panda's single kill. That is amazing stuff to see but I have to say panda did pretty well give up within 10mins into the match. None the less excellent skills from Dev who won the match 2-0, watch out whoever plays Dev next!!

AllenQuartermain -VS- W1esel
Pro-HL predicted the AllenQuartermain former MOD & umL Na$tY to win this match in straight games yet the HLCCL polls put W1esel (aka FLEX from team TBUK) a few points ahead of the yank. the match was put of to the very end due to ISP problems with W1esel and by the last 2 days the problems were still there and W1esel gave the default win to AllenQuartermain who now goes into round 2. Final result 2-0 to AllenQuartermain.

minuz -VS- plum
Predictions from both HLCCL polls & Pro-HL backed minuz to win this match in straight sets and not to mention backed minuz as one of the favorites of the tournament. On boot_camp Plum kept the scores close but still minuz out fragged him by some 19 frags. As for stalkyard minuz hammered home a massive 69 frags almost double that of plum's score. minuz now goes through to face the mighty storm^dev in what can only be called the biggest punch up match in the tournament so far. Final scores here were 2-0 to minuz.

Sh4rk -VS- rav
Pro-HL predictions favored Sh4rk to win this match against the UK player rav. On the night of the match rav couldn't make the time and gave the default win to Sh4rk. Final score 2-0 to Sh4rk.

SpiX -VS- Shado
Pro-HL predictions before the match were in favor of Shado to win after his great performance in round 1 yet on the day of the match it wasn't to be. SpiX won both maps in straight sets only just beating Shado on his home map by a single frag! Final score 2-0 to SpiX, he now goes through to round 3.

MoonyMaster -VS- Puzuzu
Pro-HL predictions backed MoonyMaster to once again destroy his rival in straight games and that's what he did. Puzuzu not to be beaten easy nearly won back his map of crossfire but the man with the biggest cheeks in AG wasn't having none of it winning both maps in the end. Final scores 2-0 to MoonyMaster.

Syn -VS- UiBikkel
Pro-HL predictions backed syn to win this match easy and from first few minutes you could see Syn was going to come through hammering UiBikkel on his home map and then repeating the same again on the away map. Final scores were 2-0 to Syn.

minuz -VS- dev
The 2 favorites in this tournament and both seen by many as the finest AG players of 2004 now faced each other in a 1v1 knockout. Pro-HL predictions were in favor of dev to win 2-1 against minuz. First map of lost_village went to minuz putting the pressure on dev to win his map or face a knockout. By the second map dev was feeling the pressure and minuz wasn't letting up that easy. Lucky for dev he won his map by a single frag to bring the match into a decider 3rd round. Funny enough the decider was the very map both players have mastered so well. The very map that both fear the most when facing the other, knowing one error could mean the end for them so the pressure was intensive on both players to really show their skill on stalkyard. Question was who had the greatest skill on stalkyard out of these two stalkyard nuts. Continuing moaning about lag & server performance from both players had been high during this match but on stalk where every frag counted minuz finally cracked under the pressure storming out of the server giving dev the default win & the final point needed to keep him in the tournament. A big shrame for such a great match against 2 such star players. I guess this was a case of mind games & pressure winning rather than the skills on the playing field. Final scores 2-1 to dev.

Sh4rk -VS- JohnnyHawian
Pro-HL predictions favored Sh4rk to win this match against JohnnyHawian, but it wasn't to be Sh4rk failed to show up in the required time and JohnnyHawian takes the default putting him into round 3 along side the other hardcore players. A big result for Jonny but will he make good use of thei break in round 3? Only time will tell... Final score 2-0 to JohnnyHawian

Deuzz -VS- Seprem
A very interesting match this one... Pro-HL pre-match polls favored Deuzz to win 2-1 against the hardcore USA player Seprem. On the first map of stalkyard a map that most top European players will pick as their home map Duezz took with ease. Some 33 frags to Seprem 0 until the server cheat protection database clocked Seprem's IP & STEAM_ID and under is pass record he was kicked & banned from the server. We then went to Seprem's home server for his map of crossfire. A map that Seprem has owned so many players on but would he do the same to Deuzz as he did to so many others. The game was under way and from the start you could see Deuzz wasn't enjoying this map one bit. For the first 10 minutes each play jumped ahead before falling behind again until Seprem hammered ahead to finally with the map by double frags. Finally the decider map... boot_camp would be the playground for this final result and due to the frag results over the 2 maps Deuzz won home server advantage. Deuzz was not letting this slip and took every advantage to hammer home a win against Seprem. Final score 2-1 to Deuzz.

AllanQuartermain -VS- **JANER**
Ex MOD member Nasty aka AllanQuartmain CB nations Cup player was tipped favorite to win over Irish player **JANER** in straight games. JANER the under dog here put up a good fight and kept fighting back but the force of the division 1 power house was too much for him. AllanQuartmain won both maps in easy style. Final score 2-0 to AllanQuartmain

=]$p@Z[= -VS- JohnnyHawian
Pro-HL predictions favored JohnnyHawian to win 2-1 against the Brit but on the night of the match Johnny failed to show up for his gam giving the default win to Spaz.

MoonyMaster -VS- SpiX
Big match MoonyMaster against SpiX, Pro-HL favored MoonyMaster to win this but SpiX went against the poll count to win 2-1 over the elite Brit power house. Final score 2-1 to SpiX.

dev -VS- Deuzz
Pro-HL predictions favored dev to win this in straight sets as favorite to win the tournament dev failed to turn up and after repeated PC problems dropped from the event giving the default win to Deuzz.

syn -VS- AllanQuartermain
Pro-HL predictions favored AllanQuartermain to win this 2-1 against the German. On the day of the match Syn had to pull out of the match due to other commitments. AllanQuartermain wins 2-0 by default.

=]$p@Z[= -VS- SpiX
Pro-HL predictions favored SpiX to win this match 2-0, from the start both players failed to show but finally the match was played and SpiX proved to be too much for Spaz winning 2-1, SpiX now goes through to the final.

AllanQuartermain -VS- Deuzz
What a match this might turn out to be was the words around the Pro-HL camp. Both players have shown great skill more so by Deuzz who is fast becoming the next dev on stalkyard. Pro-HL just favored Deuzz to win 2-1 but what a turn up for the books when the final score came in for Deuzz home map of stalkyard. 73-1, AllanQuartermain former MOD usa allstar player (Nasty) was completed hammered by the Fin. Would AllanQuartermain turn the tables on his home server & map of lost_village2? Answer is no! Deuzz who was few frags down at the start quickly took control and it was easy to see AllanQuartermain was on the was out. Final score 2-0 to Deuzz who now faces the mighty SpiX in the final.

SpiX -VS- Deuzz
The Final - To see who is Pro-HL's Best of the Best of 2004/2005. Deuzz clan plyer to team [pc] former Division 1 player to the HLCCL & new found stalkyard king up against SpiX clan member of the mighty [CWD] former Division 1 HLCCL player. After the pass results in the BB Tournament Pro-HL polls backed Deuzz to finally take the win but we all know things can change quick when under pressure. First up was Deuzz home map of stalkyard and again he's shown just why you don't mess with him on stalky when he went 54 to 2 nice! SpiX put up a good fight on his home map of lostvillage_2 but like with AllanQuartermain Deuzz isn't bad at this map and once again he managed to win through just enough to win the match & win the tournament and win title of Pro-HL's best AG player of 2004/2005.
