2007 Summer Cup Kicks Off
We're happy to announce the launch of the Pro-HL Counter-Strike Source Summer Cup 2007 sponsored by Killer Creation who will be giving away a free gaming server to the winning team fully paid for 2 months. With i31 (the UK's largest gaming LAN) just around the corner and the WCG (World Cyber Games) kick starting what better time to see how well some of the best Counter-Strike teams from the UK & Ireland perform against each other.

To mix things up a few European teams have also entered the cup and we're be looking closely to see how they stand up against the British gamers. The cup is a straight knockout tournament, 32 top 'semi pro' teams form the starting blocks of the tournament which spans over 5 tournament rounds each round played out on a different map (or arena as some would call it). The maps are Dust2, Nuke, Inferno, Train with the final played over two maps Mill & Dust2 with the decider being Fire should both teams win a match each. Each match will be played over 30 rounds (15 as Counter-Terrorist & 15 as Terrorist). The first team to win 16 rounds will take the match, the other team is then knocked out of the cup. Each match will be over seen by a registered Pro-HL admin who will check player ID's as well as apply all match settings before starting the game. Demos of all matches will be taken and will be made available from the site. Any team found cheating during the tournament will be removed and banned from future hosted tournaments. All servers will be running the latest anti-cheat software and monitored throughout the tournament. Source TV will also be made available for all matches, server IP's are available from the site or you can ask the admin on the night.
