In light of a new season approaching, the Pro-HL eXtreme CSS League is in need of admins.

Pro-HL eXtreme CSS League (Pro-CSS) is a league that is jointly run by Ministry Of Darkness, Rasta & Killer Instincts Communities, these communities banded together to help the Counter Strike Source scene during the latter stages of August 2009. The actual league had run 3 successful seasons between 2006 & 2008, and in 2009 ventured into the scene again for a beta test of Season 4, where the format, website and admin team was tested. 2010 hopes to build on a successful season last year, and continue its run well into the future. The league is headed up by Tom "Gumpster" Gumbleton, an iSeries CSS Tournament Admin, and also Manager of Quickscope website and has been admin for Enemy Down, theSGL and CCSSL in the past. What we hope to achieve over the next year, is to become one of the most stable, best and brightest leagues around in Europe. Along with that we hope to secure many partnerships with communities, organisations and companies to expand the league to greater heights, whilst remaining at heart a community focused project aimed at grass roots Counter Strike Source players.
The League currently has open gaps in the admin team, and needs people to step up to the plate. You do not need experience, and you do not need to be heavily active, but you do require a good level head and a grasp of the rules of CSS, if you wish to apply we ask that you consider that this is a big priority for us, and whether you have the capability to commit to at least 1 - 2 nights a week where you can help out in any way possible with admining and maintaining the league smoothly. You will in turn receive an email account (@pro-css.com) and also all the support of the management at MOD/Pro-HL, if you are committed to helping with the league then you will also receive a few beers at the iSeries, and lots of praise from myself. Please read carefully the descriptions below of what I and the league needs for admins, if you feel any of these following positions will help you or interest you then please read the instructions below them on where to send your email.
Division Admin:
Division Admin's are there to do a job of overseeing their 8 teams in whichever division they look over. You are the first line of defence, and you will be heavily called upon during the season when things go wrong, or whether teams need IP's and Passwords. You will be required to have an instant way of communication open to all team leaders in your division, so that any problems they have throughout the season, can be sorted efficiently and effectively and also whether a team may reschedule a game then you can be contacted with ease. You are what makes the league tick over, and if anything high praise comes to you first. This job will require you to be on as much as can especially from 7pm - 11pm on Match nights.
We have a possible 3 positions open for Division AdminConflict Admin:
Oh you really wanted to become a Conflict Admin? You have the most tiresome and hardest job possible in front of you. This task is not for the weak hearted, as you deal with the shit side of leagues, when people have arguments over something, or people who just don't like another team, and you have to sit through this to satisfy both camps. Not as easy as you thought!! You are required to review demos just in case teams have cheated/hacked or broke any rules. If a team raises a conflict, then this is where you step in. You have all the power and responsibility placed in you to uphold the rules, and deal with the teams at hand. You are effectively a Senior Admin/Head Admin, but in only matters of conflict. You need to be level headed, fair and have an understanding of rules, and very active. You get little to no credit in this task but do get some satisfaction when you can help teams start to become friends with your work. IRC is a must for a conflict admin and this is to help you talk to both teams. Once your decision is final (you can consult as many admins as you wish) then you should email the teams with your decision, and to some explanation of why (before you get that inevitable email saying "we think you are wrong bla bla bla whine whine". Good luck buddy, you're gonna need it!!
We have 1 open position for Conflict AdminFrag FM Shoutcasters:
We are going to need two people who can shoutcast and commentate on matches, and know how things work and can do some research on the teams at hand for shoutcasting (so head to head statistics, recent results on that map, positions in leagues etc etc), this is to make it more interesting for the casual and competitive gamer. Also the weekly show (which will be held on the match night) will include latest scores, and various other bits of information, like previous results, league standings, and general info about the league and other leagues around. During an off-season show, you can do what you like, and/or use it to plug the league throughout.
We have 2 - 3 open positions for Frag FM ShoutcastersSo as you can see we have quite a few positions to fill up, however if none of them tickle your fancy then we may have extra uses for you as an admin! The experience of being an admin can be heartbreaking, but can be brilliant to see how much hard work you put in and how much teams start to appreciate it. If you would like to become an admin for Pro-eXtreme CSS League then you only have to send an email to "
gumpster@pro-css.com" with some details about you, including age, background in CSS, what team you play for, what you alias is, how active you are, any previous experience, and why you would like to join the team. However you have 1 catch, you must bow down to me and love me!!!!!!
The deadline for anyone interested is Sunday 7th February. Any after this date may not be included, as I would like to move as quickly as possible with preparation for Season 5.Thanks
Gumpster
