reached new heights taking a boring standard PC case & hardware and
completely transforming it into an extreme mean machine. Most hardcore gamers
will know a standard box & gear just doesn't cut it any more. If you want
'street crede' you got to get modding!! Below we will open your eyes to the
very extreme PC modding check out these bad boys.
Blackmesa HL²
Created by Piloux a hyper modder over on the bit-tech.net site the Blackmesa PC
truly looks the part with it's rusty, broken & beaten-up look you wont find
many PC's that beat the creative look this PC has. Lets face it this case is a
work of art and should be in a PC art gallery. Completely custom made not only
does this PC look the biz but it will knock most home user machines dead in
performance.
The parts
The case is coming along you can see how Piloux has transformed the
case.
Before & after, what a difference!
In goes the fan control unit just about the CD/DVD drive painted in the same
way.
The front case fan gets a funky bullit hole glass screen made from a CD
case!!
From the side window the PC is really taking shape and if you are wondering
what the 2 water bottles are... they are for the water-cooler for the CPU!!
Oh yes the most inportant part... The Half-Life 2 logo!
Take a standard keyboard, run the power tools over it and you get...
After a paint job the keyboard is ready for use :)
